Booking Policy

East Africa Safari Tours Inc.

At East Africa Safari Tours Inc., we are committed to delivering unforgettable travel experiences while ensuring a smooth and transparent booking process. Please read our booking policy carefully before confirming your tour.

1. Booking Confirmation

  • A tour booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit and issuance of a written confirmation by East Africa Safari Tours Inc.

  • Deposit requirement: 30% of the total tour cost.

  • Final payment: The remaining balance (70%) must be paid at least 30 days before the tour start date.

  • For bookings made within 30 days of the start date, full payment is required upon booking.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept a variety of safe and convenient payment options:

  • International and local bank transfers

  • Mobile Money (for East African residents)

  • Credit/Debit cards via secure payment portal

  • PayPal (additional fees may apply)

Note: All transfer fees or bank charges are the responsibility of the client.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The following charges apply:

  • No refunds are given for no-shows, late arrivals, or unused services.

4. Amendments & Rescheduling

  • Changes made more than 30 days prior to the tour start date can be accommodated free of charge, subject to availability.

  • Changes requested within 30 days may incur additional fees or be subject to restrictions depending on logistics and partner availability.

5. Gorilla, Chimpanzee & National Park Permits

  • Permits for gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking, and park entrance are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • These permits are secured only after the initial deposit is received and are subject to availability at the time of booking.

6. Travel Insurance

  • It is highly recommended that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, personal liability, trip cancellation, delays, and loss of personal belongings.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Holding a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)

  • Acquiring necessary visas (support provided upon request)

  • Meeting health and vaccination requirements

  • Adhering to local laws, customs, and conservation guidelines

8. Tour Adjustments by the Company

In rare circumstances, East Africa Safari Tours Inc. may need to adjust an itinerary due to weather conditions, road closures, government regulations, or safety concerns. Any changes will be communicated promptly, and we will provide alternatives of equal or better value whenever possible.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for disruptions or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, or political instability.

10. Agreement

By submitting payment and confirming your booking, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Booking Policy.
