This trip will take you through Masai Mara National Park in Kenya where you are likely to witness the great wildebeest migration, then cross from there to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, on to Ngorongoro and finish with Lake Manyara national park.

Getting There

  • This tour starts in Nairobi, Kenya and ends in Arusha, Tanzania
  • This operator can help select your international flights, but you'll have to book them yourself
  • Fly to Jomo Kenyatta Airport (NBO - Check price) in Nairobi
  • Fly back from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - Check price) near Arusha. Or fly from Arusha Airport (ARK - Check price) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya)
  • A transfer from and back to the airport is included
  • Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost

Tour Itinerary

  • You will be at the airstrip by 7:00am. Arrive in Masai by 11 and and be transferred from the airstrip to the lodge -Lunch on Arrival -Afternoon cultural village visit This one hour visit to a Maasai village is a chance to interact with the Maasai and get a glimpse into their culture, unique way of life and see first hand some of their customs and practices. -Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Main Destination: Masai Mara National Reserve (Kenya)

  • Morning and afternoon game drives You will be taken on two safari game drives today, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, followed by breakfast relax at the lodge. And the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. The wildlife is usually more active during these times of the day. Or will have a full day of game drive with packed lunch. -Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Main Destination: Masai Mara National Reserve (Kenya) Accommodation: Masai Mara Sopa Lodge Mid-range lodge located inside Masai Mara NR (Kenya) Meals & Drinks: All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

  • After breakfast, set off for Central Serengeti. On the road: 4 hours. This also depends on the weather conditions, since many of the roads are gravel and corrugated. Alternatively, the guide may advise a different route with better roads, heading along the western outskirts of the Serengeti. This is a relatively remote area of the Serengeti, so you will see real wilderness with rocky outcrops. Alternatively Instead of driving, you can fly to Serengeti Central. Takes a few minutes to get there Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Main Destination: Central Serengeti National Park (Tanzania)

  • Hot air balloon safari - Game drive in the afternoon Start your day with an unforgettable sunrise hot air balloon safari. See the sun set fire to the savannah as predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal You will have a bush breakfast. Return to the lodge for relaxation. Later at 3:00pm you will go for an afternoon game drive where you will spot the Lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah among others. Return at around 6:30pm to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Main Destination: Central Serengeti National Park (Tanzania) Accommodation: Serengeti Safari Lodge Mid-range lodge located inside Central Serengeti NP (Tanzania) Meals & Drinks: All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

  • After breakfast, at 7am drive to Ngorongoro national park about 4hrs drive. Have lunch on arrival, and go for a game drive to the crater. Other than being the biggest intact (unbroken) volcanic caldera on Earth, the Ngorongoro Crater is also a natural sanctuary for some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa. Due to its enclosed nature, the Ngorongoro Crater has effectively formed its own ecosystem. Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater (Tanzania)

  • Lake Manyara national park Manyara National Park is a sanctuary for hippo, giraffe, impala and zebra, and its lake a magnet for birdlife, including sizeable flocks of pink flamingos. You will check inn, after the game drive, then have lunch and have enough time to relax. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Main Destination: Lake Manyara National Park (Tanzania)

  • After breakfast, check out and transfer to Kilimanjaro International airport for your departure or drop off in Arusha at a hotel. Main Destination: Arusha (City, Tanzania) Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour) Meals & Drinks: Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
