Tour Itinerary

The adventure begins bright and early. At 3:00 am, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Kigali and driven across the border to Uganda’s lush Bwindi Impenetrable or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll join a guided trek into the thick forest, following narrow, winding trails through rich vegetation. Along the way, your experienced guide will share fascinating insights about the ecosystem and its incredible wildlife. As the trek unfolds, the anticipation builds—until you finally come face-to-face with a family of mountain gorillas. Watching them interact, groom, and move freely in their natural environment is both humbling and unforgettable. You’ll spend a full hour observing their peaceful way of life, just meters away. The trek can take between 2 to 5 hours, depending on the gorillas' location. After the experience, you'll return to the base for lunch, then begin the scenic journey back to Kigali, arriving in the evening.
